Gaozhou (simplified Chinese: 高州; traditional Chinese: 高州; pinyin: Gāozhōu; Yale Cantonese: Kochow; Gaoyang dialect (Yale Romanization): Kochow) is a county-level city in Maoming City, Guangdong province of southwest China. It has a population of 1,500,000 as of 2002 and total area of 3276 km².
