The 8th China Guangzhou International Boat Show (GBS 2011), is one of the theme exhibitions of International Water Sports Supplies Trade Fair 2011 (IWSPS), will be held from March 3rd to 5th, 2011. The show is expected to have 30,000 sqm, 600 exhibitors and 2,000 booths. It is estimated that about 20,000 professional visitors will come and more than 100 global trade organizations will participate. It is definitely an excellent place for you to see and explore the potential Chinese market.
Predominant geological location
Guangdong province, with a coastline of more than 4,000 kilometres and a sea area of over 420,000 square kilometres, creates a better condition to develop yachts. Located in the subtropical area, it is a good place to carry out yachting activities with its mild climate and enough sunshine.
Good economic foundation
Guangzhou, as the provincial capital, is one of the dynamic cities in the Pearl River Delta. The GDP per capita in Guangzhou exceeds 6,000 USD. With the number of millionaires nearly 140,000, Guangdong Province is a better place for developing yachts. The government is making a programme aims at changing Guangzhou into a international leisure marine tourism base.
Exhibition Hall Advantage
China Import& Export Commodities Fair Pazhou Complex, situated in southern of Guangzhou Pazhou Island, is the largest exhibition hall (total area: 700, 000 square meters) in the Asia. With world-class facilities, it’s a modern construction combining high-technology with intelligence and ecology. It can improve the visibility of exhibitors and expand the effect of exhibiting, and also will help establish a better brand image.It is predictable that Guangzhou Boat Show will be the grandest show within a few years.
Exhibition both on land and water
The GBS 2011 will adopt the mode of exhibition both on land and water. The main exhibition area is in the Pazhou Complex. While the marina berths will start from the port of Pazhou Complex Centre and end at the Taigu Warehouse yachting port. Under the construction of the Taigu Warehouse, an estimated of more than 100 berths will be put into use in the GBS 2011.
